8.00

You clung to my hand like / I knew the world
 - Jeanine Leane

Join Queensland Poetry Festival on Tuesday 27th February at 6.30pm for the first Riverbend Poetry Series for 2018, showcasing contemporary Australian voices from both the page and stage.

Featured on the bill is emerging poet and researcher Raelee Lancaster (QLD), poet and essayist Phillip Hall (NSW) who will be launching his new book Flume, local musician Ofa Fanaika (QLD) who performs and composes music for bands Chocolate Strings and Captain Dreamboat in addition to her own solo projects, and Jeanine Leane, a Wiradjuri woman and award-winning poet, academic and historian who will be launching her latest collection Walk Back Over.

Join us on the Riverbend deck and let poetry rewrite the night!

Note: This event regularly sells out, so book early to avoid disappointment.
