We invite you to design a bookmark as part of our Love Your Bookshop Day celebrations.

There will be two categories for the competition:

  • Children (open to children up to the age of 16)
  • Adult (open to ages 16+)

The winning design in each category will be printed as a LIMITED EDITION Riverbend Bookmark. The winner for each category will receive a $100 book voucher as well as the glory of having their design mark the pages of many books.

Winners will be announced on August 14.


How to Enter:

Bookmarks must be submitted by August 12.

Bookmarks should measure 45 mm x 210 mm

Please submit entry in an envelope with the name and contact details of entrant clearly marked on the outside of the envelope.

Entrants are welcome to incorporate the Riverbend logo into the design. However it is not compulsory. Logo links:

  1. The Promoter is Riverbend Books (A.B.N. 92 097 885 973).

  2. Information on prizes and how to enter form part of these Terms & Conditions of Entry.

  3. By entering Riverbend Books competitions, entrants accept the stated Terms & Conditions of Entry.

  4. Entry to Riverbend Books competitions are open to all Australian residents; excluding employees and their immediate families.

  5. Entries must be received by the Promoter by the close of business on the 12th August,2017.

  6. Winners will be contacted by email or mail within 5 business days of selection and may be announced in an upcoming issue of the respective publication and/or the publication's website.

  7. The judges' decision is final and binding. As such, no correspondence will be entered into.

  8. Competitions are games of skill and as such, winning entries are selected based on the creativity of entries submitted.

  9. All prize winners agree to the use of their name and address suburb for publicity and competition purposes, without compensation.

  10. The Promoter, their associated agencies and companies associated with this competition take no responsibility for  entry or prize damage or lost in transit

  11. All entries become the property of Riverbend Books. As such, Riverbend Books is the owner of all copyright and other intellectual property in the winning responses.

  12. The laws of Queensland govern Riverbend Books competitions.

  13. If for any reason the competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
