The Twelve Days of Dash and Lily
Dash and Lily have now been going out for nearly a year - and while they're still together, there are problems at hand. It's been a really hard year. Shortly before Valentine's Day, Lily's beloved grandfather had a heart attack and fell down some stairs. He survived, but his recovery has been hard, and Lily's borne the brunt of it. If you ask her, she will insist that everything's fine. But Dash and Langston, Lily's brother, know that something's off. Her spirit is sagging. Her enthusiasm has been exhausted. And even when Christmastime, her favorite time, is approaching, she doesn't really feel it...Action must be taken. It's always the ones who believe who are hurt the most when things go wrong - so Dash, Langston, and a cadre of other friends and family members are going to have to (sometimes awkwardly) combine forces to bring back Lily's cheer, and make her fall in love with life again. They have twelve days until Christmas - and each of those twelve days is going to bring a new adventure or misadventure. But don't worry - by the end of the book, Lily will have her groove back...and then some.
