Hockney's own insight into this latest chapter of his career is found in his illuminating essay on perspective and is accompanied by thoughtful commentaries by renowned critic Lawrence Weschler and art historian Sarah Howgate.

Richard Benefield is Deputy Director of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. David Hockney is an internationally renowned artist and one of the most influential artists of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Sarah Howgate is Curator of Contemporary Portraits at the National Portrait Gallery, London. Lawrence Weschler is a writer of creative nonfiction and Director of The New York Institute for the Humanities at New York University.
